POLYMER GRAVURE

I have worked with master printmaker Amy Jane Blackhall at Ink on Paper Press to produce these limited editions of Photopolymer Gravure prints.
The resulting prints have a distinctive tactile quality due to the ink being pushed into the paper under pressure, creating the slightly raised texture of intaglio etching.

After printing, I work on the prints individually adding pastel, watercolour and metallic paints to create original work that is an extension of my painting practice.
These prints are not reproductions. On the contrary, they are completely new interpretations of my original subject, involving hours of skilled work.
The prints are 'Edition Variable' in very small editions of 10 or 15.
